Qualities of caring and helping were instilled in me by my parents who always had open arms for those in need. Working in financial services and Insurance since 1997, has given me the opportunity to put my parents’ teaching into practice. “Overall, this journey into my practice has been a rewarding and enriching experience for me. Lalit joined the financial services business in 1997 at New York Life and then joined MassMutual Greater Houston in 2011. He currently manages a team of 16 financial advisors that focus on working with business owners in medical practices and the hospitality industry. Part of my practice focuses on helping families focus on ways to create liquidity or qualify for more financial aid by leveraging assets to make their money work in a more efficient and effective manner.
Lalit was born in India and has been a proud Houstonian since 1980. He resides there with his wife, Jai, and son, Amitoz (a student at Trinity University). Lalit volunteers with Daya, Pratham USA, and the Seva Group, Sikhs of Houston. He won the MassMutual 2020 Community Service Silver Award. In his spare time, he enjoys walking and hiking. He is also an avid sports fan, whether it be football, basketball, or baseball.
